They say the first book in a series is always the best, but I’m here to tell you why the final chapter of Luna’s Diaries is actually my favorite.

As a reader, I’ve often felt that the first book in a series is always the best. However, in Luna’s Diaries, the final installment is actually my favorite. It features a dual timeline and multiple points of view. We finally get to see inside Lucas’s head, along with someone else, but I won’t say more because I don’t want to spoil the surprises. All the unanswered questions from the first two books are finally addressed.

The ending is cruel, I know. It wasn't actually my original plan. The idea hit me one morning during a workout while I was already in the middle of writing the third book. Suddenly, that ending made perfect sense. The chaos of the second book happened for a reason.

I cried the most while writing this one. It felt like I lived under Luna’s skin from the time she was 18 until she turned 32. There were times I wanted to strangle her, but the purpose of this trilogy was to show the bumpy, uneven path a human takes in real life. It isn’t the usual story where a 20-year-old magically conquers the world and knows everything.

You will hate and love these characters at the same time. You might scream at the book, throw it at the wall, or just need to take a moment to breathe. For those who have read the whole trilogy, I apologize for the emotional damage. I might sound evil, but that was my goal. Reading your reviews tells me I succeeded.

As a reader, I crave stories that get under my skin. Too often, I forget a story the moment I close the cover. I wrote these books to scratch at the soul and leave a permanent mark.

I am so grateful for your support. Promoting my work isn’t easy. It takes up so much time that I often neglect my family, especially since I also work as a photographer. If you are curious why people travel from different states to work with me, you can check out my photography on Instagram.

The trilogy is now complete and the countdown for the final release begins. Many of my readers have mentioned they would love to see a movie version of Luna’s story. I guess that will be my next dream. This trilogy even inspired my new tattoo: “Let your dreams be your wings.” I’m going to follow that motto because I believe that if we chase our dreams, they can come true.

The Luna's Diaries trilogy is available now on Amazon, Kindle Unlimited, Barnes & Noble, and other major platforms. I also offer signed copies that are available to be shipped right away.

Now, all my time is going into my new project, 13 Days in My New House. I’ll start another blog soon to explain how this crazy idea came to me. I never thought I would fall in love with a villain, but here I am. I’m completely obsessed and can’t wait to share the behind-the-scenes process with you.
