With over 200 ratings already on Goodreads, the secret is out. This trilogy is finally complete, and it's officially release day.

To be honest, this story is the diary of a broken girl that was never meant to be read. It isn’t perfect, it isn’t logical, and it is completely unpredictable, simply because real life is exactly like that. Even though it's fiction, I needed it to feel bleedingly real: bumpy, hard, and uneven.

I used to wonder why people read. I thought it was just to escape reality, because the outside world can be cruel and we are all just looking for a little comfort. But I wrote the exact opposite. I chose to walk down life's roughest path. Why? Because I see beauty in pain.

Pain makes me feel everything so much more intensely. If you think about it, joy isn't what makes us grow. It is pain. Pain forces us to look at our choices, shapes us, and makes us stronger. It wakes us up. It teaches us to cherish every single moment.

Not everyone will understand this trilogy. It's nothing like you have read before, so it is hard to compare it to anything else on your shelf. You will hate Luna most of the time for the choices she makes. But that is exactly what you are supposed to do. I want you to be angry. I want you to feel what she felt. I want you to cry and scream at her, and I want you to be mad at me for making her story so unfair.

Maybe I'm a weirdo. You might love it, or you might hate it. But I know one thing for sure: once you reach the very last page, you will need time to recover. It will make you look at your own life.

When I was 15, I started keeping a diary because I was terrified to talk. I was convinced that no one would understand me, or worse, that they would judge me. Everyone else saw a cheerful girl. Inside, something was rotting in absolute silence because I hid it so well. But that pain made me grow. Years later, I used those exact raw feelings to tell the story of an 18-year-old girl in a small town in Italy, a place where her seemingly perfect life suddenly turns into a nightmare.

The school I went to in Italy inspired Luna's school. Her house came from my memories of my grandparents' country home. My old friends gave life to the characters. The first kisses, the first big heartbreaks. Every single person who crossed my path left a scar or a mark on this trilogy.

Then Luna flees to New York. The cruelty of that new world, mixed with a past that haunts her, ends up breaking her completely. But can you truly break something that is already broken?

After writing and living alongside Luna for 14 years, putting an end to her story was devastating. I cried so much. Even though the plot is fiction, the emotions are real. They are the exact same ones I felt on my own skin. They say you write best about what you know firsthand. This trilogy helped me make peace with my own ghosts, and I'm so grateful for that. Looking back, I wouldn't change a single thing.

Every storm happens for a reason, and the sun always returns.

Luna and Zane will live forever in my heart, because a piece of my soul is trapped in these pages.

The Luna’s Diaries Trilogy is finally complete. If you are ready to have your heart broken, you can read the reviews on Goodreads or grab your copy directly on my website or from Amazon.
